Welcome to Bullar Tree
Kennels and Cattery
We’re located in rural Gloucestershire surrounded by arable farmland and traditional apple and pear orchards. The odd name ‘Bullar Trees’ seems to be a reference to Bullace or wild Damson, which was traditionally grown as a windbreak between orchards. We’ve done a little digging to come up with this information, but if anyone knows different, or can add detail, please contact us!
Introduction
Yvonne Featherstone took over management of Bullar Trees in July 2008, having owned and worked with dogs for many years, most recently in a luxury pet resort in Pennsylvania, USA.
We have 20 kennels and 7 cat homes. Each kennel has an individual covered run and each dog is given a minimum 15 minutes accompanied exercise, three times per day in our grassed yards.
Useful info
Owners may provide their pets’ own food, toys and bedding, if preferred. Most of our guests settle into their surroundings with little or no stress, but some may be comforted by familiar smells.
All pets must be fully vaccinated and we will need to see their certificates before allowing them into the premises.
We can be found in Upleadon, just two miles from the historic market town of Newent. Inspections welcome.
